2. External force damage. Now many electronic harness failures are caused by external force damage. For example, the installation of wire harness is not standardized, which is easy to cause damage. Sometimes, if the damage is not serious, it may take a long time to cause the complete breakdown of the damaged part and form a fault. If the damage is serious, a short circuit fault may occur, which directly affects the safety.

3. Environment and temperature, the heat source of the external environment where the electronic harness is located will also cause the cable temperature to be too high and insulation breakdown.

4. Chemical corrosion: when the electronic harness works in the area with acid and alkali effects, it often causes the corrosion of the protective layer outside the harness. Long-term chemical corrosion or electrolytic corrosion will damage the protective layer, and the failure of the protective layer and the reduction of the insulation performance will also lead to the failure of the harness.

5. During long-term overload operation, due to the thermal effect of current, when the load current passes through the harness, the wire will heat up, thus increasing the temperature of the electronic harness. During long-term overload operation, too high temperature will accelerate insulation aging and lead to insulation breakdown. Especially in hot summer, there are many harness faults.
